Microsoft introduced a new model-driven app named “Power Platform Environment Settings” which is now generally available and which the environment administrator can start utilizing, easily.
Previously when we used to click on this “Advanced Settings” option available under Settings (Gear icon) as shown below:
It is used to navigate us to legacy experience from where the admin could view and manage the settings, by default, it opened up all the “Business Management” related settings as below:
You were required to click on the drop-down icon beside Settings to manage other settings like Business, Customization, System, and Processes as shown below:
However, recently when I clicked on “Advanced Settings”, it directly navigated me to the Power Platform Environment Settings app as below:
From within this app, the admin can now easily view and manage the settings from within the sitemap itself as shown below:
This app replaces the legacy, web client experience by providing a unified UI experience for managing all the settings options that were available in legacy. Refer to this doc for more details.
Conclusion:
Legacy, web client Advanced Settings experience is now available in a new unified UI which is the modern way in which an admin can adapt to manage the settings within the app.
