Being a salesperson working in an organisation with a huge customer base, things turn out to be a bit more challenging in terms of managing the appointments, open tasks, and other upcoming, overdue activities against the customers. Sometimes, this is likely to end up leading to missed deadlines and disappointed customers, as managing the activities could overall be overwhelming.
Recently, a new “Due Open Activities Control” feature has been introduced that appears to be giving a good control over easing this out efficiently. It typically provides timely reminders for both open and overdue activities for the customers without any human intervention. Users do not necessarily have to track or keep any manual checks around any pending items. On top of this, the feature offers the ability to help navigate directly to the relevant activities, eventually resulting in making task management seamless. This is potentially a huge enhancement that helps you meet the deadlines and increase overall customer satisfaction by doing all the activities on time.
Let’s see how it works.
The Due Open Activities control displays activities that are due today or overdue. By default, it appears on the Enhanced Case form but can also be included in other forms.
Hovering over the control reveals record details.
Click on the drop down to open the Associated Activity view (tab).

Clicking the Test (Subject) link in the popup directs you to the Open Activity Associated View.
Conclusion:
The “Due Open Activities” control is like having a personal assistant that keeps track of your deadlines and tasks. It helps you stay organized, prioritize effectively, and handle your workload with ease. By integrating this feature into your project forms, you streamline your task management and ensure nothing slips through the cracks. Get a clear summary of overdue and upcoming tasks, making it easier to plan your next steps.
